Day 1

Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam’s vibrant colonial capital. Your guide and driver will greet you outside the baggage claim area at Noi Bai Airport and escort you to your hotel in the city center. In the afternoon, take a stroll around the heart of Hanoi, visiting key attractions such as the Opera House, the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and Ngoc Son Temple. Day 2
|
Breakfast will be at the hotel. After that, your guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to Ha Giang via Tuyen Quang province. Arrive in Ha Giang in the early afternoon and check into your hotel. Then, take a short walk around the city or enjoy a gentle trek to some Tay villages in Ha Giang City. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel in Ha Giang.

HA GIANG - QUAN BA - YEN MINH - DONG VAN (B/L/–)

Day 3
|
After breakfast, drive to the Dong Van Karst Plateau. On the way, marvel at the beauty of Pac Sum Pass, Heaven Gate, and Fairy Mountain in Quan Ba, with views overlooking Tam Son town from above. Continue to an old clay house set in a breathtaking primitive landscape in Ha Giang province, surrounded by flower gardens of Tam Giac Mach (buckwheat), roses, and cornfields (during the summer corn season). This house is famous from the Vietnamese movie "Pao’s Story." Next, visit the residence of the Vuong family, also known as the Palace of the Hmong King. Proceed to Lung Cu Flag Tower and visit the Lo Lo minority village at the foot of the mountain. Conclude your day in Dong Van Town. Accommodation at your hotel in Dong Van. |

Day 4
|
Breakfast at the hotel After breakfast, visit the Dong Van Old Quarter, lined with houses that are one to two hundred years old, and soak in the ancient atmosphere of Dong Van. Spend the rest of the day exploring the remote and beautiful countryside of Dong Van, passing through several villages along paths used by the local people. Enjoy the stunning backdrop of picturesque valleys covered in rice paddies. The H’mong and Hoa ethnic minorities, known for their colorful clothing and warm hospitality, will greet you along the way. Day 5
|
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, begin your journey back to Ha Giang town via an alternate route. The van will stop at Ma Pi Leng Pass, renowned as the deepest valley in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, for a photo opportunity. Visit the Meo Vac market and its town. Stop for lunch along the way and arrive in Ha Giang in the late afternoon. Check into your hotel and enjoy your free time to explore the town or rest and recover for the next day's activities. *Ma Pi Leng Pass is one of the four most beautiful passes in Vietnam, ranked number four. Day 6
|
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, embark on a full-day journey from Ha Giang Town to Sin Man and Hoang Su Phi. The rough but scenic route takes you through dense jungle, over a pass, and down into Sin Man. This day will be particularly challenging for the driver, as the journey involves navigating winding roads with numerous uphill and downhill sections. Along the way, you may encounter various hill tribe groups, including the Nung Ing, Tay, Red Dao, Dao Ao Dai, La Chi, and Co Lao, who have settled in this region. Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, drive 40 km from Sin Man to Bac Ha, the capital of the Flower Hmong region and a relaxed base for exploring the northern highlands and hill-tribe villages. Upon arrival in Bac Ha, visit the colorful Bac Ha Market (on Sundays only), the H'mong King's House, and the Flower H'mong's Ban Pho village. Have lunch in town, then embark on a 90 km drive to Sapa Town. Check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure or explore the town on your own. Breakfast at the hotel. Setting out on a full day trek to explore Sapa’s cultural diversity and stunning natural beauty. Take a guided hike through expansive valleys adorned with terraced rice fields and pass through remote hill tribe villages. You can choose from three trekking options: a soft trek (~3 km), a medium trek (~6 km), or a long trek (~12 km). Trekking is an excellent way to explore daily life and familiarize yourself with the cultures of the H’mong, Dzao, and Dzay people who inhabit the region. Transfer to Halong Bay HANOI - HA LONG BAY - TRINH NU CAVE 07.30-08.00: You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and transferred to Ha Long (For guests booking Limousine Bus or shuttle bus only). 11:30-12:00 Upon arrival at Tuan Chau International Cruise Port, you will enjoy a warm welcome by our cruise staff in the waiting lounge and complete check-in procedure. 12:00 Upon boarding Amanda Cruise, our crew welcome you with a refreshing drink and cold towel before checking into your cabin. The vessel leaves Tuan Chau Marina, taking you on an exciting journey to discover the beauty of Ha Long Bay. Along the way, you can enjoy the view of some of the most beautiful spots in Ha Long and admire the grandeur of the Bay with thousands of limestone islands while the vessel heads to Trinh Nu Cave. SUNG SOT CAVE - HA LONG BAY 06.15: Start your day with Tai Chi class on the sundeck. 06.30-07.00 Enjoy a light breakfast with coffee, tea, cake and fruit. 07.30 Exploring Sung Sot cave. This is one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay. The cave has some unique rock formations which couldn't be found anywhere else. The path to the mouth of Sung Sot Cave is under a canopy of leaves. Walking through steep stone steps, tourists may have the feeling of climbing mountains and experience the excitement as if they are stepping to the sky. 08.30-09.30 Back on board, you can rest in your room, enjoy the herbal foot bath prepared by our crew, sunbathe on the sundeck, take pictures of Ha Long Bay or shop for souvenirs on the boat. 09.30 Check-out time. Please put your luggage outside your cabin and leave the room key at the reception desk. Our staff will transfer your luggage to the waiting area. While waiting, you can shop for some products of Amanda cruise. 10.00 Enjoy an early lunch buffet at the restaurant on the 2nd floor and settle the bills if any. 11.00 Arrival at Tuan Chau Marina.
