Day 2

Lao Cai is a delightful town nestled on a hill near the Chinese border. Take some time to explore downtown and grab breakfast at a local noodle house. Afterwards, your driver and guide will escort you to one of the vibrant local markets, each held on specific days (Coc Ly on Tuesdays, Sin Cheng or Cao Son on Wednesdays, Lung Khau Nhin on Thursdays, Can Cau on Saturdays, and Bac Ha or Muong Hum on Sundays). Stroll through the bustling stalls filled with handcrafted goods sold by the various hill tribe people who gather here to trade. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Sapa, renowned as Northwest Vietnam’s top travel spot, known for its awe-inspiring views of misty mountaintops and sprawling valleys. Our travel experts will craft a detailed itinerary tailored to your travel dates, ensuring you visit one of these special markets.

Day 3

Breakfast will be at the hotel.

We'll meet you at your Sapa hotel around 9 AM and then head out of the market town. Our journey will take us downhill to Cat Cat village, with stunning scenery all along the way. When we reach a waterfall and hydroelectric station, we'll pause for a short break before continuing our trek along a dirt trail through terraced rice fields. This area is still covered by lush rainforest protected by Hoang Lien National Park.

Our next stop is Y Linh Ho village, home to the Black Hmong people, where we'll take another break before climbing back up to the main road. From there, our vehicle will pick us up and drive us back to Sapa.

Day 4

Breakfast at your hotel.

Today's adventure is all about immersing yourself in the stunning scenery of Sa Pa valley. We'll start our journey by following a road that winds down along Cau May Street for about 6 km. Along the way, marvel at the rice terraces peeking through the morning mist – a truly breathtaking sight.

We'll then follow a small trail, crossing the Muong Hoa River and passing by meticulously maintained rice terraces until we reach the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. Continuing through the vibrant rice terraces, we'll arrive at the Ta Van Giay village. As we trek alongside the Muong Hoa River, we'll come across a small suspension bridge, approximately 2 km from the village, where you can explore a fascinating array of rock carvings depicting various scenes of life, including stilt houses and decorative patterns.

We'll enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before continuing our hike through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, a village inhabited by the Red Dao ethnic minority. After a rest near a refreshing waterfall, we'll begin our ascent uphill to reach a road where our car awaits to take us back to Sapa, concluding our memorable journey.
