SGN-HD01: SAIGON HALF DAY CITY TOUR 

 

Morning / Afternoon
The city tour begins at the War Remnants Museum, a really famous spot in Saigon. Here, you can learn about how the Vietnamese fought for their freedom and peace during the Vietnam War. The museum shows weapons, documents, and photos that prove what happened during the war and how brave the Vietnamese people were.

Next, we'll head to the Reunification Palace, which saw the end of the tough Vietnam War in 1975. Now, it's a museum and a place where important meetings happen. Nearby, you'll see the Notre Dame Cathedral (just from the outside) and the Central Post Office, both well-known places in the city.

Then, we'll check out the XQ Vietnam workshop to see some really beautiful embroidery. Finally, we'll visit the lively Ben Thanh Market in District 1. Your guide can help you bargain for things there.

SGN-HDCC02: HALF DAY CU CHI TUNNELS TOUR

 

In the morning at 8:00 or afternoon at 13:00, we'll pick you up from your hotel.

We'll head northwest of Ho Chi Minh City to visit the Cu Chi tunnels. These tunnels were a Vietcong base during the American war, a massive network that stretched over 200 kilometers. They had trapdoors, living spaces, storage areas, factories for weapons, hospitals, command centers, and kitchens.

You'll watch a short video showing how the tunnels were built. There are also displays of traps and the remains of an American tank, plus many craters made by big bombs. Then, we'll spend about an hour exploring the maze of tunnels to see firsthand how the Vietcong lived underground.

For those interested, there's a chance to shoot rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at a nearby range (optional, and there's a fee). We'll end the Cu Chi tour by dropping you back at your hotel.

SGN-FDMK02:  FULL DAY MEKONG DELTA CLASSIC TOUR

My Tho city rests along the upper Mekong River and is one of the nearest cities in the vast Mekong Delta to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). In just 1.5 hours by drive, you can immerse yourself in the traditional culture of Vietnam's Mekong region, traveling along waterways, meeting friendly locals, and enjoying fresh fruits from fruit orchards.

 

 

At 8:00, leave your Saigon hotel and head to My Tho, where you'll see vibrant countryside scenes and picturesque rice fields along the way. When you arrive, hop on a boat for a Mekong River tour, stopping at villages (islets) to discover local life. Visit a coconut candy workshop, learn how it's made, then stroll through the village and take a horse-drawn carriage ride to try fresh honey and seasonal fruits while enjoying traditional folk music.

Next, take an adventurous boat ride through palm-fringed creeks to Turtle Island, a beautiful natural spot. Have a tasty traditional lunch with a specialty of the Mekong Delta – Deep fried elephant ear fish and other local dishes.

In the afternoon, return to Ho Chi Minh City. If you're interested, make a stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a stunning ancient pagoda in the Mekong Delta.

SGN-FD05: SAIGON FULL DAY CITY TOUR

You'll get a glimpse into the daily lives of the fruit and vegetable sellers here, and we'll pause for a glass of traditional Café Saigon (Vietnamese iced coffee) while sampling some unique Vietnamese fruits.

Late afternoon, we'll visit the lively Ben Thanh Market in District 1. Enjoying shopping time there.

To wrap up the day, we'll visit the Bitexco Tower's observation skydeck, offering a fantastic view of Saigon city from one of its highest points.

SGN-FDCCCD06: FULL DAY TOUR TO CU CHI TUNNELS & CAO DAI TEMPLE

The impressive Great Holy See Temple, constructed in 1926, stands out as one of the most remarkable structures in Southeast Asia. It serves as the heart of Caodaism, a unique religion blending Buddhism, Christianity, and Confucianism. Explore this captivating site and join the vibrant noon-day mass conducted by Cao Dai followers. This experience is a must, especially when combined with a visit to the Cu Chi tunnels. These underground tunnels, spanning nearly 250 kilometers, formed a defense system during wartime. They include clinics, bedrooms, kitchens, storage areas, workspaces, and an underground road system.

 

 

We'll drive to Tay Ninh to visit the intricate Cao Dai temple and witness the impressive mid-day ceremony. During this event, followers dress in colorful robes, representing the unique blend of Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism in their beliefs.

SGN-FDCBTP07: FULL DAY TO CAI BE AND TAN PHONG ISLAND IN MEKONG DELTa

Experience a day trip to Cai Be and Tan Phong island in the Mekong Delta. Cai Be was once a bustling floating market in Vietnam's Mekong region. This tour allows us to enjoy the warm welcome and kindness of the locals, exploring a lush orchard, a crafts workshop, or taking a leisurely rowing boat trip.

 

 

At 7:30 AM, we'll pick you up from your hotel for a trip to Cai Be in the Mekong Delta.

We'll start by visiting the Cao Dai Temple, representing the unique local religion, and then head to the Cai Be Cathedral. Afterward, we'll proceed to Tan Phong island, where you can choose to bike or walk along village paths. It's fascinating to observe local farmers and their daily routines, from making rice paper for spring rolls to crafting various items from water hyacinth such as: baskets, bags, hats, wallets, shoes…  

A rowing boat will take you through smaller canals, offering a serene experience in the countryside. You'll see traditional wooden houses and witness local farming activities like fishing and fruit picking using traditional methods.

Lunch will be served at a local home with fresh river food. Afterward, you can stroll through a fruitful orchard and enjoy tea while listening to traditional folk music.

Optionally, we can visit local handicraft workshops to see how rice paper, coconut candy, and snacks like pop-rice and popcorn are made.

After saying goodbye to our hosts, we'll drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

SGN-HDSTF07: SAIGON STREET FOOD TASTE

Experience a speedy, enjoyable, and delicious introduction to the top street food in Ho Chi Minh City. Dive into local cuisine the way locals do by visiting off-the-beaten-path spots, connecting with locals, and exploring a neighborhood known for its affordable and tasty street food that has been around for almost three decades.

 

 

At 6:00 PM, your guide will pick you up either on a motorbike or by cab if you prefer.

We'll kick off at a night market where you can try a variety of foods, snacks, and exotic fruits from Vietnam. The idea is to taste a bit from different places to explore as much food as possible. Throughout, your guide will share stories about Saigon's food culture, ingredients, and specialties from southern Vietnam.

To wrap up our food journey, you'll get to enjoy a delicious Vietnamese dessert served in a glass before heading back to your hotel.

SGN-HDAFD08: SAIGON AFTER DARK ON BACK OF MOTORBIKE

Exploring Saigon at night is a fantastic way to discover the city's vibrant food scene like a local – on a motorbike. We'll head to places less visited by tourists to mingle with locals, try authentic street food, visit a Vietnamese-style coffee shop with live music, and end the night at one of the local nightclubs also featuring live music.

 

 

At 6:00 PM, our tour guide on a motorbike will pick you up at your hotel, or you can opt for a cab ride if you prefer. Get ready for an exciting night tour around Saigon to explore the city's authentic nightlife. Your guide will share insights into city life and the locals' vibrant nightlife.

Our first stop is a small seafood restaurant where you'll taste fresh local street food. Then, we'll head to a pancake shop, where they make delicious and sizable pancakes right in front of you while you mingle with the locals. Experience live music at a local venue that's a bit off the beaten path.

For the next stop, you get to choose:

  • Savor a cocktail at a bar on Saigon's Bitexco tower, enjoying the city's hustle and bustle from above.
  • Conclude your evening at the music venue, either leisurely enjoying the scene or hopping back on the motorbike for a ride back to your hotel.

It's a fun and genuine way to discover the hidden side of Saigon. While you'll have your own driver, it's important to feel comfortable riding as a passenger on the motorbike.

SGN-FDCGVS10: Full Day to Can Gio Vam Sat Mangrove forest

Explore the Can Gio – Vam Sat Mangrove Forest, a top eco-tourism spot recognized by UNESCO for its rich biodiversity. With over 200 animal species and 52 plant species, it's a haven for wildlife. This day trip takes you through the mangrove forests to see bat colonies, a bird sanctuary, and other wild animals. It's a fantastic getaway from the busy city, perfect for immersing yourself in nature, enjoying a laid-back exploration, and spotting diverse wildlife.

 

 

 

At 8:30 AM, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Can Gio, about 50 kilometers away, which is considered one of Southeast Asia's most stunning forests. This place is honored by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve.

Our trip begins with a boat ride to explore the natural beauty of the Vam Sat mangrove forest. Then, we'll hop on a smaller wooden boat to reach the bat lagoon, home to a group of large flying fox bats resting during the day.

After returning to the main boat, we'll venture into the heart of the forest for a gentle hike and visit the bird sanctuary (active from April to October each year). At the watchtower, you'll witness thousands of birds, including storks, herons, and cranes, flying and building their nests.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Then, we'll take a short stroll to a natural crocodile lake and Monkey Island, home to over 700 playful wild monkeys that are friendly with humans.

By 5:00 PM, we'll head back to Ho Chi Minh City, ending the tour at your hotel.
